Browser Support

Poly+ is supported on all Chromium-based browsers. There are no plans to expand outside of Chromium-based browsers at this time.

* Firefox, which is not Chromium-based, is not built for however it may still work as it did one point in development. Issues may not be fixed if they only break on Firefox as I personally do not use Firefox and Poly+ doesn't have a big enough userbase to warrant supporting at this time. Firefox support may be looked into in the near future however as more and more people ask.

Security & Privacy

Poly+ values your Polytoria account security and privacy. The only requests sent out from the extension are to Polytoria official APIs and this website (the only time this website is requested is to here for the upcoming update notifier). Poly+ only references identifiable account information (such as your CSRF token) after a user action (NEVER without user confirmation) and user identifiable information is only sent to Polytoria official APIs never anywhere else. The entire extension is open-source for your viewing at any time here. If you are still uncomfortable about using Poly+ or ever become uncomfortable while using Poly+, removing the extension will remove any data saved by the extension.

Currently, no permissions are optional. However, this is something I would like to change in the near future.

Permission Reasoning
Storage Storing the settings and other local data with chrome.storage.sync
Context Menus Registering "Copy Asset ID", "Copy Avatar Hash", and "Run Update Notifier" context menus. The "Run Update Notifier" context item is for development when I need to test the update notifier at any time, it is only enabled on the developer debug page.
Tabs Accessing tab info (was added awhile ago, cannot find usage in code)
Scripting Running functions on tabs (used in combination with context menus to copy asset ID and avatar hash)
Alarms Registering a daily 12 PM alarm for the update notifier (which will be able to be disabled in the future)
Notifications Creating notifications (used in combination with alarms to notify if there is an update available)
